The Goal

We want to share our passion for edible landscaping with you.  The growing movement in local food security and urban sustainability have brought attention to the many benefits of edible landscaping, urban agriculture and permaculture design.  People are becoming increasingly aware of the environmental costs of trucking food 1000's of km.  They are realizing the incredible flavours and freshness available from locally grown produce.  Our goal is to share our knowledge and experience with others to help people go ultra local by helping them learn how easy it is to incorporate edibles and native plants into their garden or patio.  The benefits are more than just great produce – growing your own food is fun, rewarding and empowering.   It's deeply satisfying - some might even say addictive!

We hope you are inspired to try incorporating edibles into what ever garden space you may have - no matter how small.  For those living in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, we hope you get some great ideas on what you can grow in our area.  Hopefully you'll come out and see us at one of our garden events.
